Pampering the Flower Girl

The morning of the wedding I let Abby stay home from preschool (it was a Friday wedding) and we pampered her and got her all ready for her day as a flower girl. We painted her nails and then she went to get her hair done at about noon. The wind that day was ridiculous and with the wedding being outside I knew we would need something that would stay. My hair girl Becky did an amazing job, as usual.

Abby thought it was pretty fun getting her hair all fancy.

It turned out adorable! She looked like she was going to prom.

She was in a goofy mood when we left.

Pretty painted nails.

Rehersal Dinner

After a walk through of what everyone was suppose to do on the wedding day, we headed downtown to Lazlo's for supper. The kids have been looking forward to eating at Lazlo's all week! I know that's a little sad but what can I say our kids love good food. These 3 boys crack me up!

Courtney had got the boys bowties to wear for the wedding. Bryce was thrilled with his even though he decided the color Coral was another word for pink.

Caleb was less than thrilled with the idea of wearing a bowtie!

Abby got a keepsake hankie that she can someday have on her wedding day.

Our little brother is all grown up!

Bachelorette Party

This is the week! Mitch and Courtney's Wedding Week! It has been really stressful to get ready for but I am so excited to see it all come together. Courtney's Bachelorette party was on the Wednesday night before the wedding. I can't say that I have ever been to a bachelorette party pregnant but since it is for Courtney I didn't want to miss it.
We started out at Vincenzo's in Lincoln for some delicious food. We then made our rounds to multiple bars downtown. After seeing Courtney party it up I think she will fit into the family Great!

21 Week Ultrasound

This pregnancy has been different than the other 2 in about every way possible. We didn't have to do infertility treatments, I haven't been horribly sick and the other thing that has been different is that I have only had 2 ultrasounds. I had an ultrasound at the very beginning but now we have had to wait 8+ weeks to see our little girl again. I have been really nervous about this ultrasound. I don't know if I just have this feeling of dread because everything has been so easy or if I have just seen too much being a Nicu nurse.
We wanted to include the kids, if they were interested in going, so we asked them what they thought. Abby and Bryce were very excited to go and Caleb was all for getting out of school an hour early.
This was one of the best pictures of her that she could get. She was moving around a lot that day.

Abby liked the one where she had her hand by her head.

A tiny little foot.

And confirmation again that she was a little girl.
The best thing was that we got the all clear that she looked very healthy!
The kids weren't super thrilled about the ultrasound but I think they liked seeing a glimpse of their new baby. Caleb later told his teacher that he saw the computer screen but the pictures didn't look like a baby. Funny kid!
