Megan and Lane's Wedding

Megan has been a friend of Robb's since they were little. They grew up together. I knew Megan in school but her and I became close when Robb and I got married. Megan has been a wonderful friend to Robb and I and has been like another Aunt to our kids and is the Bryce's godmother. Her and Lane asked all of our kids to be in their wedding which was very special! The kids were all very excited but Abby was by far the most excited to get to be a flower girl again.

Caleb looking handsome! He doesn't love dressing up but agreed to do it for Megan.

All the kids looking adorable in the outfits that Grandma Susie made them.

Love them!

Bryce has started to like dressing up. He even recently requested to wear a tie.

Abby looked beautiful! She always like dressing up and especially likes having her hair and nails done.
The kids did a great job during the wedding. John was responsible for keeping the boys in line and making sure they didn't lose the rings. Abby was nervous but she walked down the aisle nicely and dropped her petals as she went.
The whole family. Emmy's first wedding.

The wedding was beautiful and we couldn't be happier for Megan and Lane as they start their new life together!
Abby rocked it out at the dance. She had a great time with Brie and Addie, Lane's girls.

Bryce was terrified that someone was going to make him dance so he sat by Steve who had a broken leg. I guess he thought that was a safe spot.

The beautiful bride and baby Emmy.
Luckily we have a really tolerant baby! But even then bringing a baby to a wedding that all your kids are in is a challenge. I ended up changing her on my lap at the reception hall since they didn't have a changing table and I nursed her in the coat check area since my dress wasn't all that nursing friendly. I guess you just do whatever to make it work. Emmy had plenty of people who were willing to hold her and she stayed in a good mood despite the loud music until 11pm.

Abby and John

Caleb was a party animal until the very end and then he was just too tired to take it anymore.

Thank you Megan and Lane for making our kids such a big part of you important day. We wish you the very best and look forward to watch you grow as a family.

Getting Beautiful

Abby was the flower girl for Megan and Lane's wedding. She was so excited.

Her hair turned out adorable.

Abby painted Emerson's toenails so she could be fancy too.

End of the Football Season

Good Job on a great football season!
This was Bryce and Caleb's first year playing "flag" football or tackle as it happened most of the time. Robb coached and did a wonderful job.

Last Day of School

Bryce and Caleb are officially done with the first grade! They have had a great year with Mrs. Williams. She was strict enough to keep her class in line, caring enough that all the kids adored her and pushy enough that all the kids reached their full potential with her. This year was a great school year and I can only hope next year goes this well.

Officially 2nd graders.

Abby had her last day of preschool this week too. This was especially sad to me because not only is she growing up so fast and will be attending Kindergarten next year but I have been taking kids to Pioneer Park preschool for the last 5 years. I feel like Sueann has become family. I used to take Abby there as an infant and now she is graduating Pre K. Thanks Sueann, Diane and Lori for being wonderful teachers and for being like family to us the last 5 years.

Happy Birthday Robb

This year was the big 32. Happy Birthday to the best Dad and Husband we could ever ask for!

Staying with tradition we went out on the boat for Robb's birthday. It has been a cool spring so the water was freezing cold but he had his wetsuit and was determined to get in the water!
Caleb got up on water skis for the first time. He has been wanting to do a watersport for 2 years now. We were so excited for him when he finally made it up.

Bryce got in but he thought it was pretty cold!

Abby and I stayed in the boat. Too cold for us to swim yet! Thanks John and Megan for bringing food and going out on the boat with us. Emmy had to stay home with Mackenzie. It was too chilly for her on the boat.

Omaha Zoo Field trip

I was lucky enough to get to go on their Omaha Zoo field trip with them. They have been looking forward to this all year! There were about as many parents as there were kids that went so we had small groups but we went through the zoo with a couple other groups of their friends. All these boys were completely out of control wild. At times I had the thought of how does their teacher do it day in and day out but I think they were just Overly excited.
My boys who hate pictures were more than happy to pose with their friends.

I was shinning my camera light on this croc so that we could see him better (looking back probably a stupid idea!) and all of a sudden he jumped out the water, slamming his head into the chain link fence. Shannon (Ethan's mom) and I screamed a jumped and I just about dropped my phone in the water. The boys thought this was the funniest moment ever! Not sure Shannon and I are going to be able to live this one down.

We toured the Desert Dome, the Kingdom of the Night, Aquarium and the Jungle. By the time we had eaten lunch and had went through some of the bigger inside exhibits it was finally warm enough to do the outside exhibits but we were pretty crunched for time. 4 hours is not long enough at the zoo!

The boys and I

The true monkeys of the zoo!

It was a crazy day of keeping track of crazy boys but it was fun! So glad I got to go with them!

Emerson is 3 Months! (May 4)

It is hard to believe that my baby is growing up so fast! She is 3 months already. She was in a great mood when we got her pictures done and MJ got some really cute shots! Her pictures really show off her rolls and her cheeks. Might as well show them off while they are adorable!
This picture is my favorite. I love how she is all curled up!

Aunt Steph made her this cute tutu!

We are finally adjusting to being a family of 6. You fit in great. You are a very tolerant baby and even though Bryce, Caleb and Abby are up in you space all the time you think they are funny and love to have them play with you. The newness of having a baby hasn't wore off for them yet. They still have to take turns and in the morning with you, someone usually "calls" having you first. Their favorite thing is before bed when we let them each take a turn holding you in their bed. Bryce and Caleb each show you stuffed animals and play games with you. Abby usually spends her time kissing all over you and then you are Done with kids for the night, so Abby has to go last.
You are a great little eater and have managed to be a lot more flexible than you sister was. You love to nurse and almost exclusively nurse when I am home with you mainly because I like feeding you and I Hate pumping. But you love your bottle too and take it very well for Mackenzie, Grandma and Daddy. You still eat about every 3 hours and in the evening you get a little snacky and like  to eat every hour for a few minutes.
You are following in your sister's footsteps when it comes to sleeping. You usually go to bed between 9-10 and then are up between 12-1 to eat and again at 4 and then you would prefer to snack until 6 am when you would like to get up for the day. As you see that doesn't leave a lot of time for sleeping so you end up in our bed most nights just so I can get a little sleep. During the day you take a morning nap that is about an hour long and you take a really long afternoon nap where you sleep 2-3 hours most days.
Your favorite things are riding in the carrier that I wear. You aren't a big fan of your carseat so I will usually take you out of that and "wear" you while we run errands. You love having your brothers and sis talk to you. Your favorite toys are your Sophia the giraffe and this little beanie baby dog that Bryce gave you. You also love linkys. You love to look around outside and really enjoy walks.
You weigh 15 lbs (I forgot to measure you) and are wearing 3-6 month clothes and a few 6 month things. So far you eyes are still really blue but Bryce hopes that you will eventually join the green eyed team (Bryce and I). You have a pretty fair complexion and in the right light your hair looks really red. Grandpa Myron finally got his red head!
