Abby Played Volleyball

Abigail took a huge step out of her comfort zone this spring and played volleyball. Addison's mom had asked the girls if they wanted to play and I think all Abby heard was "Do you want to see Addison every Saturday and Thurs night?" Needless to say, Abby was a little panicked when she found out that they would be playing actual games.
Cuties!

Abby did great! She practiced hard in practice and really worked on her serves. Serves at this age is really how they get any points. It isn't very often that a ball is returned. Abby did have 1 game where she had 2 returns though. If she were going to like sports I think this might be the one.

Her and Addison had fun.

Easter

Happy Easter!
This year we celebrated on Saturday with Steph,Draven and Dad and Cindy. It was a fun and relaxing day! Steph  made yummy food as always and the kids had fun playing together and doing an Easter Egg hunt. The boys are getting a bit old but when you put money in the eggs they still want to be a part of it!

Easter Day

We are past the days of matching Easter outfits at least as far as the boys go. The most I can ask for these days is a clean collared shirt. Matching or not they clean up pretty good!
Abby and Emmy think it is still fun to match but with this dress we realized we need a big girl style and a little girl style. It was exactly the kind of dress Emmy wanted but it was a little young for Brook and Abby. Either way they looked adorable in the dresses that Grandma Susie made.

We had a fun Easter. We celebrated on Saturday with the Lutz's, Steph and her family and the Lunds also stopped over. The sermon was nice and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for celebrating Easter.

Last year someone had challenged Grammy to make a pie-cakin. This, similar to a turducken is a pie inside of a cake. Grammy of course rose to the challenge and although she looks nervous as she cuts her pie-cakin it was delicious!

The other kids are getting a little old for the egg hunt but not Emmy. This year she had it figured out and Grandpa Bob was her personal egg gathering assistant. Who had the time to carry their own basket when you are busy gathering eggs! He also pointed out some tricky ones and together this egg getting team won the egg hunt overall for finding an egg that was hidden last year.

Had to add this cute picture in!

Since it was a little bit of an untraditional Easter this year I was thankful that the Lutz's welcomed Steph and her family over so that I could spend another day with my sis!
