Doggie Dentist

Not everyone can say that their dog pulled their tooth out. Emmy and Scout were wrestling, and Scout stepped on her mouth. She had a really loose front tooth and Scout had managed to knock it out when she stepped on her. There was oh so much crying, screaming and blood. After the trauma of it all, Emmy decided she still loved Scout the Doggie Dentist.

 

Emmy is Playing Basketball

Emmy has decided to play bball this year and Robb is beyond excited that she has shown interest in this. Robb is coaching and it is adorable to watch him coach these girls. I didn't get to go to the first game because I had to get boys to an out-of-town game, but Abby got to go cheer her on. 

We are lucky that one of the Mom's is a photographer and put together this great picture.

 

We are all a little bit in Love

Little Scout is so cute and cuddly. We managed to get a puppy during the coldest 2 weeks of the year, and we feel terrible sending her out in the snow to potty. So, we snuggle her in between. She sleeps a lot at this point and then when she does wake up to play, she is a little maniac. She runs all over and jumps up on the bean bag pillow. She will run after toys but her very favorite thing to do is to annoy the heck out of Lucy. She follows her around growling and nipping at her. 

 

Morrill Hall

Emmy requested that we go to Morrill Hall for her birthday. We went on a super snowy Saturday. You were so excited to go! Even Archie the Mammoth is wearing a mask. You loved seeing all the dinosaur

bones. I had forgotten how cool this place was. Emmy took a ton of pictures with her new camera and my phone. She had a great time.

 

 

Happy 7th Birthday Emmy

It's hard to believe that our baby is 7! You have been a force since day one! You have such an energy and the ability to control our entire household. We love you to death even though you are a turkey at times. You are a great friend; you are smart and spunky. You have always acted years older than you really are and every once in while we get a glimpse at teenage Emmy, and it might be interesting in years to come. You are a girl that knows what you want and can stick up for yourself and hold your own, all great qualities to have!

You chose to get ice cream at 402 creamery for your birthday. They have chocolate cubed which is a gluten free, dairy free ice cream that is actually delicious.

For your meal you chose to have sloppy joes with Manwich. This meal always cracks me up because it is not anything that I ever make but this was your favorite meal at daycare, and it is always your request when you get to choose.

Puppy snuggles on your birthday. I felt like a terrible mom on your bday because I had gotten my second Covid shot the day before and I was sicker than I have been in years all day. I barely made it out of bed that day. Luckily you gave me grace and didn't seem phased by it. 

You were so excited to open your gifts. You have been studying dinosaurs and fossils at school and you have decided you want to be a paleontologist someday. You asked for a lot of science related gifts. A girl after my own heart! You got a geode cracking kit, a crystal growing kit, camera and lots of other things. 

Safety glasses are a must. You look so cute working on your science kits!

 

Baby Puppy Pictures

I forgot how much work a puppy is, but she is adorable, and we are all falling in love with her. The kids are all old enough that they are a lot of help. 

She is very inquisitive and has no fear at all.
