The 4th of July fell on a Wednesday this year so we had a pretty low key evening. We had the Boden's over for supper and the boys lite off their display of fireworks. In true Lutz boy fashion they had to set the box on fire when they were finished. That is one thing that the boys have really liked about living out here, is buying and lighting fireworks longer than you could in Lincoln.
Emmy even got in on some of the action this year. She liked the smoke bombs and the sparklers.
Here is the loot. They have went to the firework tent countless times trying to get everything that they wanted for the show.

| Now they have lite entire packs of black cats in the box and are blowing on it to get a flame going. |

This year poor Lucy was so nervous about all the fireworks that we could hardly get her to go outside. We went and got meds at the vet to make her sleep through the whole holiday that she hates. Bryce felt so sorry her that he spent the night sleeping on the dog bed with her.
