There was an outdoor light display in the parking lot of the waterpark in Lincoln that Emmy had seen a couple of times when we drove by. Each time, she asked if we could go through it. So, when I got home from work on Wednesday, Emmy had already planned for us to go that night. The girls, Robb, the dogs, and I all piled in the car and headed out.
Robb wasn’t too thrilled about having to pay $25 to look at lights, especially when you could drive around town and see lights for free. But, we paid the fee and began making our way through the display. Was it a little corny? Sure, but it was still cute. Robb wasn’t impressed, though. He said it felt like he had paid to drive through a traffic jam. Oh, Robb! The girls thought it was cool, and the dogs were absolutely amazed. It was a nice enough night that we could have the windows open, and the dogs had their heads hanging out, taking in all the lights. It ended up being a fun little outing, even if Robb wasn’t sold on it!
