Monster Jam

For Christmas we all got tickets to go to Monster Jam which is a monster truck show. Both boys like monster trucks and we knew that they would Love it! We were really excited to see their reaction even if a monster truck show is the last thing we ever thought we would go to. The kids were all up early and ready to go. Even Abby was pretty excited.
We had pit tickets to meet the drivers and take pictures by the trucks. Bryce made sure that he got his picture by every truck. Bryce picked his favorite which was the Wolverine truck. Caleb picked the orange truck called Maximum Destruction ( this seemed fitting since he is the little maximum destruction of our house). Abby was a little overwhelmed by the crowd and the massive trucks. She stuck with grandpa most of the time.
We had lunch and it was time for the show to start. Bryce, Caleb and Brook could hardly contain their excitement. The first contest was the wheelie contest. It was amazing to see the massive trucks about stand on end. The kids screamed and cheered. I was amazed at how loud they were and I was really glad we had ear protection for the kids and I was wishing I would have brought some for Robb and I.

It wasn't something that we ever thought we would go to but it was a fun day for everyone. Thanks for the tickets Bob and Susie!
