Wedding weekend was finally here! We were all so excited to celebrate with Mitch and Courtney. My kids have grown up thinking Courtney was already their Aunt so this was the official step. Mitch and Courtney have been with each other through graduation, college, new jobs, long distance living, and living far from family, and have supported each other through all of it. I am excited to see what the rest of their life together will bring.
Hard to believe this handsome guy is my little brother!
Bryce and Caleb carried a sign that said "Here Comes the Bride". Draven was the ring bearer and walked down the aisle with Abby. They all looked so cute and everyone did a great job. We did bribe our children with candy, unlimited lemonade, rootbeer floats and pie at the wedding.
Abby looked beautiful in her lace dress that Grandma Susie made! Abby was really nervous before the wedding. The poor girl said she had a bad headache about an hour before she had to walk down the aisle. She was fine after her and Draven walked down the aisle but I think we stressed her out.

They looked adorable and they both did a great job.

Everyone had fun at the wedding! The wedding was so beautiful. Mitch and Courtney put so much work into it and all the details came together so nice. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Mr Caleb may have enjoyed himself a bit too much. Robb and I are a little strict when it comes to how much juice, candy and sweets the kids have everyday. We figured that since the kids all did a good job at the wedding we wouldn't really put too many limits on them. Caleb took this as he could and should consume as much sugar as humanly possibly in one night. I think he ate almost an entire bowl of M&M's, a gallon of lemonade and a root beer float, just as he was moving onto pie his body couldn't handle anymore. The poor guy ended up getting sick and Robb had to take him home at about 9:30. Now when someone is indulging in way too much sugar we call it "pulling a Caleb". The dance was fun even though without Robb there I didn't have a dance partner. I made Bryce dance with me a couple of times but he seemed mortified. Abby had fun running around and playing with the other little girls. By 10:00 or so my kids were beat! Bryce and Draven were sitting in the chairs playing on the iPhone looking like zombies and Abby had fallen asleep on Cindy's lap. It was a wonderful day and we are happy to welcome Courtney into our fun but crazy family.
