Bryce had begged to play summer basketball and we drug our feet a little, because we like having our summers open to do whatever we want. We did end up giving in but it was a little too late when we decided to say yes and he ended up on a Lincoln Christian team where not many of the kids had played much basketball. That really frustrated him and he was forced to do a lot to the work but I think it was probably good for him. Last year he seemed to be over thinking the game and this summer he seemed to just play the game so that was nice to see. One of the first games that we watched Bryce got elbowed and came out for a little bit. Since the team was thrown together at the last minute they didn't have any subs. Robb jokingly told Caleb he should go in for his brother. Being the great kid that he is he threw on a jersey and went in to help the team out. That's how Caleb ended up playing summer ball too. The coach asked him if he wanted to be on the team and he said sure. It was fun to watch them play on the same team even if the team was pretty rough to watch sometimes.
