Bryce and Caleb were lucky enough to have all of our family come for their family birthday party. Not sure why I didn't get many pictures this year. We had a great day and perfect weather. All the kids used the water mat and the water trampoline. So little side note: At their friend party a couple days before, all the boys were playing king of the hill and fighting to be the last one on the water mat. Bryce and Caleb were up against each other and Caleb decked Bryce in the side of the head. Bryce later said that his ear hurt and we figured it was from the punch but he didn't say anything else until after his friends left. After we had taken all the boys home he was having excruciating pain in that ear and Robb contemplated taking him into the ER. The nurse in me knew that they weren't going to be able to fix anything tonight and decided to wait until morning. When Bryce woke up in the morning he had dried blood coming out of his ear and green pus. I felt terrible for him. Robb took him into the pediatrician's office and we saw someone that we had never seen before. Robb said he felt like quite that criminal because she was wondering why someone had punched him in the side of the head hard enough to rupture his eardrum. Poor kid got antibiotics, ear drops which he hates and he also had to wear ear plugs and a swim headband. The swim headband and earplugs were something that he had to wear the rest of the month and he was mortified because it looked silly. He didn't do much lake swimming at the family party but he still had fun.

Caleb got a new golf bag which was much needed. He has been doing some golfing at the par 3 course and his kids bag was too small.
