Vaction Day 3

We are getting the hang of camping! The weather has been more cooperative and we have been able to get a great fire going and have made some pretty good meals. Bryce loves to be the keeper of the fire, so that is his official job. Caleb has been fishing a lot. It's not a great area to fish because the water is moving so fast but he has been trying. The girls have been helpful with making meals and we have been hiking and exploring. There are a lot of really cool hiking paths that we have been on. Bryce and Robb have been going extreme hiking where they have to climb and it's really steep. They climbed the backside of the waterfall and found a small gravestone of an infant that was marked there. The history of this area is pretty interesting and we found out that a family owns this land and found the waterfall on it. They have since leased it to the State Parks to let people camp here. The gravestone that they found was of their infant. We have really had fun!

Their is the white Birchwood branches everywhere here. Emmy calls them Yeti sticks? No idea why!? But we have a big collection of Yeti sticks at our campsite.

Girls hiking trip.

Bryce and Emmy both slipped on the moss off of the steps by the waterfall and biffed it. They were commiserating together.

Lucy is exhausted. She put herself to bed early.

Glow balloons and some music make for a fun night!
