Not sure you can drive to Colorado without stopping at Ole's Big Game Bar. The boys both think all the taxidermy exotic animals are cool, but Brook and the girls were appalled that someone had killed all these beautiful animals.
We got to the ski rental place at 6pm and everyone was glad to be done driving in the mountains. Most of our kids get slightly carsick while driving the winding roads. Emmy was a little tired when we got there, and I was worried that skiing was going to be a no go for her when she said her wool socks felt like a million little spiders on her legs. Great! Here we go with our ultra-sensitive child. She sobbed when we tried to put ski boots on her and the guy doing the fitting looked at us like we crazy to think this child was going to ski.
Lucky for us Brook was there, and she is like an Emmy whisperer. When all of us had given up on her drama, Brook managed to get the ski boots on her.
Luckily everyone got fitted for their ski stuff without any problems. It was interesting fitting the gear in the truck since we had every square inch of the truck packed full.
