The kids all went back to school after a 2-week Christmas break. They all got home, and everyone raced for a bathroom because evidently no one poops at school. When they got back into the kitchen to raid the snacks Abby asked Emmy why her teacher thought it was her birthday. I knew this was a story I had to hear. Emmy said she walked into the classroom and her and Stella (her bday buddy) had bday placemats on their table. Her teacher told them Happy Birthday and they got hats and their birthday picture taken. They both at one point during the day thought about telling Mrs. Dudley that it wasn't their bday but they both chickened out. We were all laughing so hard we were crying listening to Emmy tell us how they celebrated her bday today and she couldn't tell the teacher that it wasn't her bday. I guess when given the opportunity to celebrate your bday twice TAKE IT.
