Last year swimming lesson were a bit of a disaster. Emmy would cry and scream and the teacher would have to pry her off of me to even go into the pool. Well, it was so fun last year that we decided to try it again this year. With how much time that we spend at the lake it really isn't optional to know how to swim, it is a life skill that she has to have! This year since we are members of the YMCA we decided to try having her take them there. It went better from the start. I don't know if it was the fact that she was a year older or just more comfortable at this pool since we have swam here before. No matter the reason the whole experience was much better. After her initial 6 week class she liked her teacher so much that we signed up to do 1:1 lessons with her for another 6 weeks. Emmy loved Ella as a teacher and learned a lot.
