Steph has started to be pretty active with the Norfolk Pride group. She helped with the planning and executing of the Pride Fest this year. When your sister signs up for something and is in over her head with tasks, in comes the other sister. She had a lot of things that she was doing and I wanted to take a few things off of her plate and spend the day with her and support Norfolk Pride. Steph made a ton of cupcakes to serve and I made 4 dozen gluten free cupcakes to serve. Together we put this awesome arch together and set up the different activities and stations.
We had to try out the axe throwing to make sure it was safe you know.
I helped in the craft room, I helped pick up the lunch stuff and I helped keep the cupcake stands full. At the end of the day we were beat after tearing down tables, loading all the rentals and cleaning up. The turn out was great and I think everyone had a lot of fun. I was glad to be a part of it.
