Bree talked Abby into doing Trainer Assistant with her for this school year. To say I was surprised would be an understatement. Abby doesn't really talk to boys-she will be the trainer for football. She doesn't like things that are dirty, stinky or sweaty-most of her job is wrapping wrists, ankles and stretching football guys that are sweaty and stinky. She also does not handle anyone vomiting at all and I'm sure as with any sport this occasionally happens. So this is why I was shocked that she signed up for this. I was really proud of her and I think she learned a few things. This was a huge time commitment for her. They were expected to attend almost every practice and she had to be on the sidelines during warmup and throughout the game for all home games. For the away games they took the more senior students that also volunteered for trainer. I will say, I was more excited to go to the football games just to watch Abby and Bree in action on the sidelines. I know I am that mom.
