I have probably mentioned this before but in case I haven't, We love our Church!
I feel like we did a lot of "church shopping" when we first moved to Lincoln and I am thrilled that this is the one that we decided on! It is a lot bigger than the church was Robb was used to but we have found if you are willing to put in the effort and do some of the extras to get involved you really get to know people like you would in a small church. So when I was looking for a garden experience for the Girl Scout group I had asked the church if they would involve my Girl Scout troop they were more than willing to and even excited about it! The garden that they plant every year is huge and it provided hundreds of pounds of food for the local food bank
The boys wanted to get involved too! The church garden group had them do they heavy lifting!
It was funny because the garden group consist of mainly older men in the church. They were surprised how easily the Girl Scouts could crawl around on the ground and plant all the plants and seeds. They said it had never went so fast!
So proud of these girls for taking part in this community service project! Your hard work will pay off for so many families.
Thanks to the garden club for your patience, humor and expertise as you taught us what we needed to know to plant the garden!
