All Decked Out Cute

Looking good to go to Christmas Eve Church. Grandma Susie made the beautiful Christmas dresses and although they weren't thrilled about it, the boys clean up pretty good too.

As our lives go lately, we were running behind even though we had planned to be to church 30 min early. We ended up only getting there about 15 min early and church was packed! They had 4 services for Christmas Eve and we either picked the busiest one or we have a bigger church congregation than I realize. The main sanctuary was full and the fellowship hall was full of chairs and that was also full. We were a little sad that we didn't get to be in the main area of the church but we did end up getting back row seats in the fellowship hall so at least we could watch on the screen. The kids were pretty well behaved during church. Emmy was a little restless but it went alright and I was still able to enjoy Christmas Eve church.

When we got home everyone was hungry and wanted to play with their toys and Robb and I didn't have it in us to make a big meal so we opted for Chinese takeout for Christmas Eve supper. A unique choice but it was still good and best of all no clean up.

Before bed the kids said their goodbyes to Blitzen the Elf (that is why Abby looks so sad) because he will go back with Santa tonight. We also set out the stale Christmas cookies that we have been saving for weeks and a glass of milk and settled in to listen to Robb read the Christmas story. Good night and Merry Christmas.
