Mitch and Courtney had to work Christmas so we weren't able to see them when we were back to Norfolk, so they came to us that next Monday. We had gotten home Sunday night late and all stuff was still in the car so the kids and I slowly but surely started the process of unpacking bags and new toys and finding a spot for them. This time of year really makes me start to feel closed in in our house! I made Mitch and Courtney promise to not judge for a messy house when they came over. It was a nice relaxing evening with just us and them. Courtney is due mid February, and it always makes me excited to meet my new nephew when I see them. I think parenting with be an adjustment for them just like it is for any new parents but I am so excited to see them be parents. They will be great! Mitch and Courtney got baby gifts from us for Christmas. I couldn't help myself, baby stuff is so fun to buy!
Abby was super excited to get an owl bank.
Bryce and Caleb were excited to get Husker pillows for their room.
I guess I didn't get a picture of it but Emmy got a really cute little outfit too. Emerson was a super crabby baby all evening after not being home for 3 days and not getting enough sleep. I hope her crabby attitude didn't make them want to rethink the baby thing. I guess too late now. Ha Ha
